M.Sc. (Remote Sensing and GIS) is a four semesters programme spread over two years aims at imparting state-of-the-art knowledge in Remote Sensing and GIS to meet the emerging demand of geospatial knowledge in different sectors of development. The broad course structure is as follows.


Admission  Procedure

Total Numbers of Seats – 30

Entrance – Admission in the programme shall be granted to the students on merit basis.

Reservation– Rules regarding reservation of seats in the programme shall be in accordance with the University Rules.

Eligibility- General Eligibility for admission in M.Sc. (Remote Sensing and GIS) is not less than 50 % marks in aggregate in Bachelor Degree with Geography/Geology/Forestry/Botany/Mathematics/Physics/Computer Science/Statictics/Information Technology.

Programme Fee– Rs.42,000/-annum as detailed below
